StandICT.eu 2029 - Open Call 2 Info Session (Presentation, Webinar 24 March 2026)

Abstract

StandICT.eu 2029 continues the European Union’s long-term effort to strengthen its influence in international ICT standardisation. By supporting European experts who contribute to Standards Development Organisations, StandICT.eu helps ensure that European priorities, like security, interoperability, trust, sustainability, and fundamental rights, are reflected in the technical rules shaping the digital economy. To make this happen in a transparent and accessible way, StandICT.eu 2029 launches 6 Open Calls, each open for 60 days, providing funding and support to standardisation specialists and newcomers ready to engage in technical committees, working groups, and key standardisation communities. Open Call 2 is open from 23 February 2026 and closes on 24 April 2026. Applications are expected to align with the Rolling Plan for ICT Standardisation of the European Commission’s Multi-Stakeholder Platform.
