Interview on Human-Wildlife Conflicts in Strategic Areas

Abstract

This document presents a semi-structured interview protocol developed for the UTPL research project of the Binational Andean Conservation Corridor of Southern Ecuador. The instrument is designed to assess both ecological and sociological dimensions of human–wildlife conflict and to identify conflict hotspots to support management and conservation decision-making. The interview comprises multiple groups of questions and analytical factors, including both original components developed by the authors and adapted elements from previously published instruments. All adapted materials are used with appropriate authorization. This version of the interview is provided in English.
