Manual de entrenamiento para la aplicación en entrevistas semi-estructuradas para la evaluación de la interacciones gente – fauna silvestre en la región neotropical

Abstract

This repository contains the didactic manuals developed for students enrolled in the Biologia de la Conservación (Conservation Biology) course (9th cycle of the Bachelor’s Degree in Biology) at the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja. These manuals are designed to support the practical component of the course, providing structured guidance for training students in the design and implementation of interviews with rural and Indigenous communities. The primary objective is to equip students with the methodological and ethical tools necessary to assess human–wildlife conflict in real-world contexts. The materials emphasize field-based learning, interdisciplinary approaches, and culturally sensitive research practices, preparing students to engage effectively with local communities while collecting reliable and meaningful data. The original version of these manuals is in Spanish.
