Dimenzie integrácie migrantov v Slovenskej republike v kontexte rozvoja sociálnej ekonomiky

Abstract

Currently, the migration of persons due to the emergence of the so-called 'migration crisis' in the European Union in 2015 has been the subject of discussions, debates, as well as political speeches. It is natural that the topic, by its complexity, "deserved" intensive attention from both the lay and professional public. A particular challenge for individual EU Member States, including the Slovak Republic, is the issue of the integration of foreigners. It can be said that one of the basic criteria for successful integration is the support of their employment, which is a key prerequisite for a proper integration into the society. We believe that social entrepreneurship can be one of the possible forms of support for the employment of foreigners as one of the vulnerable groups. The aim of our paper is to point out the possibilities of integration of foreigners in the Slovak Republic through the social economy based on the analysis of legislative and conceptual documents, as well as examples of the involvement of actors in the process of integration of foreigners.
