ERA5 Surface and IMERG Precipitation Input Data for EMMA-Trackerv1.0 Climatology (1998–2024)

Abstract

This is Part 3 of the input data for the EMMA-Trackerv1.0 input data archive. This dataset is the ERA5 input data used to calculate the lifted index which is an input variable for the EMMA-Tracker used to create the European MCS climatology. The Data was downloaded from Copernicus Climate Data Store: https://doi.org/10.24381/cds.adbb2d47Additionally the hourly IMERGv7 precipitation data from 1998-2024 used for tracking. The Data was downloaded from https://doi.org/10.5067/GPM/IMERG/3B-HH/07Part 1 and Part 2 is available at 10.5281/zenodo.19347622 and 10.5281/zenodo.19347730.The resulting climatology can be downloaded from https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18234276
