
The article examines the problem of developing students' self-education skills in the process of studying the Russian language in higher educational institutions. Pedagogical conditions that promote the development of independent learning activities are analyzed, and the role of modern educational technologies in enhancing the cognitive activity of students is revealed. Particular attention is paid to the integration of traditional and innovative teaching methods.
