Post-surgical complications after stomach operations Dumping syndrome → food moves too fast into the intestine Post-vagotomy disorders → problems with stomach movement and digestion after cutting the vagus nerve Natural complications of peptic ulcer disease (PUD) Perforation → hole in the stomach/duodenum Bleeding → ulcer erodes blood vessels Penetration → ulcer spreads into nearby organs Stenosis → narrowing causing obstruction
