Data for: Asymmetric cross-hemispheric climate response to extratropical forcing mediated by tropical Pacific coupling

Abstract

This repository contains the processed data used to generate the figures for a study of asymmetric cross-hemispheric responses to NH and SH extratropical cooling. Using CESM1 experiments, we examined how extratropical cooling in one hemisphere affects the climate response in the opposite hemisphere, and why SH forcing produces a stronger remote response than NH forcing. The archived files include the data for all main and supplementary figures presented in the manuscript. Detailed descriptions of file contents, experiment labels, and variables are provided in the README file.
