
This tutorial covers how to load and save data in R, including reading CSV, Excel, and plain text files, importing data from URLs, writing data to various formats, and handling common file path issues. It is aimed at beginners in linguistics and the humanities who have completed a basic introduction to R. This tutorial is part of the Language Technology and Data Analysis Laboratory (LADAL), a free, open-access research infrastructure at the University of Queensland. LADAL provides tutorials, tools, and courses for researchers working with language data.
