Leishmania guyanensis (strain M4147) genome and proteome

Abstract

This dataset contains the genome, coding and protein sequences determined for Leishmania guyanensis (strain MHOM/BR/75/M4147). This genome sequence was assembled de novo using Illumina and PacBIO sequencing platforms by Myler et al (2025. PMID: 40693767). The genome was assembled into 36 contigs, being 35 the expected number of chromosomes for this species. A total of 8066 proteins and their corresponding coding sequences are also provided. The Fasta files included in this dataset were downloaded from GenBank (assembly GCA_024970365.1; March 30, 2026).
