Abstract

Der Klimawandel ist ein bedeutsamer Kontextfaktor, der die funktionale Gesundheit insbesondere vorerkrankter Menschen negativ beeinflussen und damit auch ihre Erwerbsfähigkeit und -teilhabe beeinträchtigen kann (Reusch et al., 2025). Die Kompetenz, klimawandelbezogene Gesundheitsrisiken zu (er)kennen und diesen mit geeigneten Strategien zu begegnen, gewinnt damit zunehmend an Bedeutung (Ludewig et al., 2025). Dieser Beitrag fokussiert die Frage, wie die medizinische Rehabilitation zur Stärkung der klimabezogenen Gesundheitskompetenz von Rehabilitand:innen beitragen kann. Zur Beantwortung dieser Frage wurden im Rahmen des von der DRV Bund geförderten Projekts „Klima@Reha“ drei methodische Zugänge kombiniert: (a) Scoping Review, (b) Online-Befragung und (c) Fokusgruppendiskussionen. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, es werden praxisorientierte Tools und Schulungen benötigt, die an der Lebenswelt und individuellen (gesundheitlichen) Situation der Rehabilitand:innen ansetzen und sich niederschwellig und flexibel in bestehende Therapie- und Schulungsangebote integrieren lassen, um Rehabilitand:innen zum Erwerb klimabezogener Gesundheitskompetenz zu befähigen.
