Analyses et propositions de solutions durables pour la gestion des inondations dans la plaine ville d'Antananarivo

Abstract

Cette thèse propose une analyse approfondie des problèmes d’inondations récurrentes dans la plaine ville d’Antananarivo, la capitale de Madagascar. En s’appuyant concrètement sur des études de terrain, des données hydrologiques et analyses spatiales, l’ouvrage diagnostique les causes multiples de ces inondations, qu’elles soient naturelles (fortes précipitations, topographies, nature des sols) ou anthropiques (urbanisation non maîtrisée, imperméabilisation des sols, insuffisance des réseaux d’assainissement, occupation des zones inondables). L’étude évalue les limites des stratégies de gestion existantes et plaide pour une approche intégrée et durable. L’auteur développe et propose un ensemble de solutions techniques à court terme et à long terme, organisationnelles et politiques visant à réduire la vulnérabilité du territoire. Ces solutions peuvent inclure des aménagements hydrauliques adaptés, des techniques alternatives de drainage urbain, une meilleure planification urbaine, le renforcement des systèmes d’alerte, ainsi qu’une gouvernance plus efficace associant tous les acteurs concernés. L’objectif final est de se trouver des solutions pérennes face aux risques d’inondation pour le développement durable de la plaine ville d’Antananarivo.
