A Moderate-Resolution, Long-Term Global Radar-Based Forest Above-Ground Biomass Dataset from 1993 to 2020

Abstract

This dataset provides a new global forest annual above-ground biomass (AGB, Mg ha−1) record at a 8.9 km spatial resolution, covering the years from 1993 to 2020. It is derived from satellite radar backscatter data and incorporates climate information, including dynamic and background climate data, to improve the accuracy of global AGB mapping.
