
This paper presents evidence that domestic cats and dogs evolved specific adaptations to interface with human consciousness signatures, including feline adult meowing tuned to human caregiving frequencies, canine supraorbital muscle development absent in wolves, and purring as a multi-frequency biological interface. We interpret these adaptations as evidence that consciousness recognition is substrate independent. Supporting observational data from two domestic cats demonstrating distinct consciousness signatures within the same substrate is included.
