Health and safety subset of a dataset represents data collected from fields involved in the summer (Kharif) 2024 deployment of Deccan traps basalt dust from the GPM (Gaurella-Pendra-Marwahi) base location. Approximately 39347 tons of rock were distributed to 635 rice paddy farmers. Soil samples were collected at various time points to monitor and quantify elemental fluctuations associated with rock weathering. Asbestos and/or significant radioactivity are not expected in the feedstock used (1,2). 1) Srinivas, K. N. S. S. S., P. Pavan Kishore, K. S. V. Subramanyam, and D. V. Subba Rao. 2021.
