Abstract: The contribution of this research is to show the elements that allow the development of a strategic plan, through the collection of information, strategy development and performance management, applied to the educational program of the Specialty in Government Accounting and Auditing, which enables its relevance and consolidation. The research was of the descriptive type, in terms of materials, information was sought in secondary sources that would allow the socioeconomic analysis of the discipline, supply and demand, the labor market and pre-feasibility analysis, as well as primary sources through a questionnaire applied to the aforementioned public servants. In this project, it shows a definition of where said program is headed, the results obtained up to the first four-month period, and the actions that must be carried out to achieve its objectives. Resumen: El aporte de esta investigación es mostrar los elementos que permitan desarrollar un plan estratégico, a través de la recopilación de información, desarrollo de estrategia y gestión del desempeño, aplicado al programa educativo de la especialidad en Contabilidad y Auditoría Gubernamental, que le permita su pertinencia y consolidación. La investigación fue descriptiva. En cuanto a los materiales, se buscó en fuentes secundarias información que permitiera el análisis socioeconómico de la disciplina, la oferta y la demanda, el mercado laboral y el análisis de la prefactibilidad, así como fuentes primarias a través de un cuestionario aplicado a los servidores públicos antes mencionados. Este proyecto muestra una definición de hacia dónde se dirige dicho programa educativo, los resultados obtenidos hasta el primer tetramestre, y las acciones que se deben llevar a cabo para lograr sus objetivos.
