Crime Evolution in Latin America 2015-2024: Database by Categories Database on the evolution of crime in Latin America and the Caribbean during the period 2015-2024, compiled from secondary sources (UNODC, InSight Crime, Prosegur Research, World Bank, ECLAC, UN Women and Infosegura). The dataset includes 230+ records organized by 8 categories: (1) Homicides: rates per 100,000 inhabitants for Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica and Bolivia. (2) Femicides: reported cases. (3) Kidnappings: complaints. (4) Robberies.
