This document represents the first version of the deliverable and is subject to review and approval by the European Commission. Following this process, and once any revisions deemed necessary have been duly incorporated, an updated version of the deliverable will be submitted and made available accordingly.This report is the first deliverable outcome of Work Package 7 (WP7) of the UNTWIST project. The aim of WP7 is to conduct the survey administration, data harmonization and clean-up of the final database. The survey measures at the public opinion level all the different dimensions of gender-based needs and demands and put them in relation to voting behaviour. In this sense, it is a key piece to test the UNTWIST hypothesis of whether RWPPs (Right-Wing Populist Parties) act as challenger parties, representing specific gender-related needs, demands and fears of citizens “on the margins” previously neglected or ignored by mainstream parties. In this report, we focus on the final outcome of the main tasks carried out before, during and after the survey fieldwork, which is the final appended database, providing an in-depth description of how the data was produced. This report is divided in five sections: Section 1 provides the technical documentation and fieldwork description; Section 2 describes the variable harmonization strategy; Section 3 outlines the weighting procedure; Section 4 presents the annotated description of the appended database version and, lastly, Section 5 provides the unified database codebook.
