Cheat Sheet: Data Visualization

Abstract

This handy cheat sheet summarizes best practices for data visualization. Using common practices when creating plots can reduce misinterpretations, make plots easier to understand, and make them more appealing to readers. This makes them more likely to be reused and referenced by others. This cheat sheet is part of a series of cheat sheets created by Rhine-Ruhr Centre for Scientific Data Literacy.
