Forest recreation patterns in Europe (including various GIS forest descriptors)

Abstract

This data-set shows patterns of forest recreation in Europe. All the indipendent variables are the same as in the two previous versions, which focused on supply of and demand for forest ecosystem services. Presented values of dependent variables normalized to 0-1 range. In the case that you cannot open the main file, I also upload separate files for each of the depentend variables. On Q17 (travel time), the data is in minutes (0-120 range). All data is a raster on 1 x 1 km spatial resolution. Detailed description is presented in the Metadata & Data description file. Associated code for is available at https://github.com/marcuslovricus/forest_recreation
