Abstract

L'aspect du sujet abordé dans cette étude. Cette étude transversale a évalué les connaissances, attitudes et pratiques sur le diabète gestationnel auprès de 198 sages-femmes et maïeuticiens exerçant dans les districts sanitaires d'Ouagadougou en 2025. Ce que cette étude apporte de nouveau. Trois participants sur quatre ont des connaissances insuffisantes, des attitudes défavorables, et un sur deux des pratiques inadaptées. Si 99 % ont reçu une formation de base, seuls 17 % maîtrisent les moyens de dépistage et 11 % les critères diagnostiques. Le dépistage entre 24 et 28 semaines n'est pas réalisé par 92 % des participants. Aucun facteur sociodémographique n'est associé à ces lacunes, mais une corrélation positive existe entre connaissances et attitudes, et entre connaissances et pratiques.
