UJALoc-BLE-NLOS: Real-World BLE Dataset for Indoor Localization under NLOS Conditions Abstract This dataset contains Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) measurements collected from 8 Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons distributed within a conventional multi-room dwelling. The data is designed to support research in indoor localization, fingerprinting techniques, and signal propagation modeling under real-world Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) conditions. It includes measurements from 28 distinct reference points, providing a comprehensive mapping of the radio frequency environment in a realistic residential scenario with obstacles, walls, and multipath effects. Dataset Structure Measurement files: p1.csv - p28.csv: Individual files corresponding to each measurement point (1 to 28). Each file contains raw RSSI captures from all detectable beacons at that specific location. plane.pdf: A detailed floor plan showing the physical coordinates/locations of the 8 beacons and the 28 measurement points. Each record in the CSV files follows this structure: mac: Physical MAC address of the detected BLE beacon. time: Unix timestamp (milliseconds) of the measurement. dato: Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) value in dBm. Hardware and Configuration The setup consists of 8 BLE beacons with varying transmission power (TX Power) settings to provide diverse signal characteristics for modeling. The specific hardware devices and their configuration are described in detail in Díaz-Jiménez, D., López Ruiz, J. L., Cuevas-Martínez, J. C., Torres-Sospedra, J., Navarro, E. A., & Espinilla Estévez, M. (2025). BLE-Based Custom Devices for Indoor Positioning in Ambient Assisted Living Systems: Design and Prototyping. Data was collected by placing a receiving device at each of the 28 points marked on the map. At each point, the receiver captured advertising packets from all beacons for a fixed duration, capturing the temporal variance of the RSSI signal.
