Abstract

L'aspect du sujet abordé dans cette étude. Cette étude a analysé rétrospectivement sur 4 ans (2020‑2023) la prise en charge périopératoire de 109 patients opérés en urgence pour pathologie neurochirurgicale au CHU d'Owendo (Libreville). Ce que cette étude apporte de nouveau. Les urgences représentent un tiers de l'activité neurochirurgicale. Les patients sont jeunes (âge moyen 42 ans), majoritairement des hommes. Les hématomes sous-duraux (aigus 32 %, chroniques 18 %) dominent les indications. Le score de Glasgow moyen est de 12, avec 60 % de patients entre 9 et 13. Le délai moyen d'admission au bloc est de 10 heures. La mortalité hospitalière atteint 36 %, malgré une anesthésie standardisée (propofol, suxaméthonium, sufentanil) et un monitorage multiparamétrique systématique.
