Zenodo Quick Guide How-To Upload a File

Abstract

This guidance refers to the latest "fearless" release - Friday the 13th of October, 2023". Zenodo is a popular online platform for researchers to share and archive their generic research outputs. Uploading files to Zenodo can be daunting for those unfamiliar with the platform. Hence, having simple how-to guidance on uploading files in Zenodo can be helpful. This guidance can provide step-by-step instructions on uploading files and editing metadata. This guide was initially inspired by Richardson, Jane, Bianchi, Lorenza, & Czomba, Barnabas. (2018). Work Instruction on publication of digital objects in Knowledge Junction. Zenodo. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.1409614 Note to Version 4: I didn’t expect such interest in this simple guidance. I’ve just added a DOCX file too, so you can easily personalise it.
