This project served as a driving use-case for developing an SQL schema model for natural diversity data that would be adopted as a module for Chado, the unifying relational data model for the Generic Model Organism Database (GMOD). This archive includes the code for a demonstration online application that was live at the URL http://heliconius.nescent.org. Development essentially ceased in 2010, and its results were merged into the Chado Natural Diversity module started at the GMOD Tools for Evolutionary Biology Hackathon.
