This work presents a continued fraction representation of tanx derived independently by the author. The approach originates from the derivative of ln(cosx) and its Maclaurin series expansion. While the series for tanx is known in the literature, the transformation into a nested continued fraction in this form is original to this contribution. Abdullah Baran, Van, Çatak
