QR Code is the advanced form of barcode that can store two dimensional data or information that can be transferred even in digital form. It's a recent trend that is helping out teaching-learning process promoting self-learning and techno-friendly environment for the teachers and taught. In present scenario to cater the need of dynamic and diversified students, QR Code may prove as a boon to get them to the excellence in knowledge domain. It can be used effectively even with the moderate camera mobile phone. Here, researcher would put light on the meaning and definition of QR code, process of its coding and decoding, use in teaching-learning,, its requirement, methods or ways of uses, causes of its popularity, relation with mobile leaning and Philip learning and challenges in present scenario.
