Coherence vs Entrainment in Human-AI Agentic Systems: Agent-Based Model and Experiment Data

Abstract

NetLogo agent-based model investigating how AI agent integration affects resilience in coordinated socio-technical systems. Distinguishes entrainment (phase-locking alignment) from coherence (identity-preserving coupling) and tests system behaviour across AI proportions, repeated stress, and mixed-regime populations. Includes BehaviorSpace experiment data (1,500 runs across 3 experiments), analysis scripts, and publication figures.

Keywords

entrainment, NetLogo, human-AI systems, coordination dynamics, agent-based modelling, socio-technical systems, resilience, coherence
