Abstract

South Sudan has experienced significant social upheaval since its independence in , with ongoing conflicts and displacement affecting various aspects of society, including sexual violence survivors. The study employs a longitudinal approach, integrating qualitative data from interviews with participants and stakeholders in various regions of South Sudan. This framework underscores the importance of culturally sensitive psychosocial interventions for sexual violence survivors in South Sudan, highlighting areas that require further research and policy attention. Policymakers should prioritise investment in sustainable psychosocial support networks tailored to local contexts. Community involvement is crucial for ensuring these programmes are effective and accessible.
