The dataset contains data from two nationally representative public opinion surveys conducted in Ukraine in 2024 by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation in collaboration with the Razumkov Centre's sociological service. The surveys focus on public attitudes towards mobilisation and also include questions on perceptions of the Russian–Ukrainian war, levels of trust in institutions, civic engagement, preparedness for crisis situations, and selected socio-demographic characteristics of the population. The first survey was conducted between 21 and 27 March 2024 and included 2,020 respondents. The second survey was carried out between 29 November and 14 December 2024 and included 1,518 respondents. Both surveys were conducted using face-to-face interviews with respondents aged 18 and over. In both cases, a stratified multi-stage sampling design was used. Random selection was applied at the initial stages of sampling, while quota selection by gender and age was used at the final stage. The structure of the samples reflects the demographic composition of the adult population of Ukraine in the surveyed territories as of early 2022. Due to the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine and the associated security restrictions, the surveys were conducted only in territories under the control of the Ukrainian government and not affected by active hostilities. Consequently, some areas were partially or entirely excluded from the fieldwork. The dataset includes the raw survey data in SPSS format (.sav), available in both Ukrainian and English. The data have also been exported to Excel files (.xlsx), with the contents of each XLSX file corresponding exactly to the original SAV file. The survey methodology and questionnaires for both surveys are provided in the relevant "Documentation" sections (PDF files) in both English and Ukrainian.
