Regional economic blocs in Africa have been a subject of significant interest for scholars studying African integration processes. Tunisia's strategic location and its role as an emerging market make it particularly relevant to examine the dynamics within these blocs. The study employs qualitative methods, including interviews with policymakers, focus group discussions with business leaders, and secondary data analysis from international organizations' reports. These methods were selected to provide a comprehensive understanding of the regional economic landscape in Tunisia. Key findings indicate that while some blocs offer significant market access opportunities, others pose challenges due to differing trade policies and regulatory frameworks. A notable theme is the need for harmonization efforts to facilitate smoother trade flows within and between these blocs. The research underscores the importance of regional cooperation in enhancing economic integration but highlights the complexity of navigating diverse bloc dynamics. Recommendations are provided to optimise Tunisia's participation in regional economic structures. Tunisia should consider developing strategic partnerships that align with its national development goals and actively engage in regional forums to address common challenges such as trade barriers and investment climates.
