This study explores the impact of examination stress on the physical and psychological well-being of first-year university students. A survey was conducted among 18 students aged 17–20 using an online questionnaire with 10 questions. The results show that most students experience moderate to extreme stress during exam periods. Stress is mainly related to limited preparation time and concern about grades, while external pressures such as family expectations play a smaller role. The findings also indicate that exam stress negatively affects sleep quality, with many students reporting poor sleep during exams. Students primarily cope with stress by listening to music or talking to friends and family. Overall, the study highlights the significant effect of exam stress on students’ well-being and emphasizes the need for better stress-management support.
