
Off-grid communities in Nigeria often face challenges in accessing reliable electricity sources, necessitating alternative energy solutions such as solar power systems. A multilevel regression model was employed to analyse data from multiple instances of solar power installations across various communities in Nigeria. The multilevel regression analysis revealed that a 10% increase in community engagement correlated with a 7.5% improvement in system yield, indicating the importance of active user participation for optimal performance. This study provides evidence on how engagement levels can influence the efficiency and effectiveness of off-grid solar power systems.
