In Yambio, Sudan, early marriage among adolescent girls is a significant social issue affecting educational attainment and health outcomes. The study employed mixed-methods research including surveys, interviews, and app usage data collection to assess user engagement and impact on behaviour change. App usage was high with a 75% active user rate after six months, indicating strong community interest in the educational content provided. The educational apps show promise for influencing attitudes towards early marriage but require further customization and support to sustain long-term impact. Policy makers should prioritise funding for app development and distribution, alongside community education programmes focused on digital literacy skills.
