IMPACT OF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IN THE AUTOMOBILE HORN MANUFACTURING SECTOR

Abstract

Training and development are essential components of human resource management in modern organizations. Inhighly competitive industries such as automobile manufacturing, organizations must ensure that employeespossess the required skills and knowledge to perform their jobs efficiently. Training programs help employeesimprove their technical abilities, understand operational procedures, and adapt to technological changes withinthe workplace. In the automobile component manufacturing sector, employees often work with specialized machines, electricalcomponents, and complex production systems. Without proper training, employees may face difficulties inoperating equipment or maintaining quality standards. Therefore, companies invest in structured training anddevelopment programs to enhance employee capabilities and ensure consistent productivity. The horn manufacturing sector is a specialized segment of the automobile industry where product quality, soundprecision, and reliability are extremely important. Automotive horns are mandatory safety devices used in vehiclesto alert pedestrians and other drivers. Because horns play a vital role in road safety, manufacturers must maintainstrict quality standards during production.Organizations involved in horn manufacturing require skilled employees who can handle assembly processes, electrical wiring, sound testing, and quality inspection. Training ensures that employees understand theseprocesses clearly and perform their tasks accurately. Development programs also improve employee confidence, motivation, and long-term career growth. In addition, training contributes to organizational success by improving productivity, reducing production errors, and enhancing employee satisfaction. When employees receive continuous learning opportunities, they are morecapable of adapting to modern technologies and new production methods used in the manufacturing sector. Therefore, training and development programs are not only beneficial for employees but also essential fororganizational growth and sustainability in the competitive automobile industry
