Abstract

A silagem mista possibilita uma complementariedade nutricional, refletindo na qualidade final da silagem. Assim, este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o efeito da inclusão de feijão guandu sobre a dinâmica fermentativa, qualidade nutricional e estabilidade aeróbia de silagens mistas de capim elefante. Para a confecção da silagem foram utilizados capim elefante (Pennisetum purpureum Schum) variedade capiaçu e o feijão guandu (Cajanus cajan). Foi adotado o delineamento inteiramente casualizado com cinco tratamentos (0, 15, 30, 45 e 60% de inclusão de feijão guandu com base na matéria seca) e cinco repetições. Os ingredientes das silagem foram misturados manualmente até atingir a homogeneidade, posteriormente o material foi ensilado em 25 silos experimentais de Policloreto de Vinila (PVC). Após 40 dias de fermentação foram determinados o perfil fermentativo e estabilidade aeróbia das silagens. Nas condições experimentais, recomenda-se a inclusão de até 60% de Feijão Guandu combinado com BRS Capiaçu para compor silagens mistas, em virtude de melhorar as características fermentativas, perfil nutricional, reduzindo as perdas e aumentando a estabilidade aeróbia das silagens.
