This report presents findings from the Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students’ Survey (GUESSS) 2016, conducted in Belarus, examining students’ entrepreneurial intentions, activities, and perceptions of university support for entrepreneurship. The results indicate strong entrepreneurial aspirations among Belarusian students. While only a small proportion plan to start a business immediately after graduation, a majority intend to pursue entrepreneurship within five years. A notable share of respondents are already engaged in early-stage entrepreneurial activities, although the percentage of students currently running businesses remains relatively low compared with the global average. Entrepreneurial intentions differ across academic disciplines, with higher levels observed among students in fields such as economics, law, and the humanities. The study also suggests that universities provide a moderately supportive environment for entrepreneurship education. Overall, the findings highlight significant entrepreneurial potential among Belarusian students and emphasize the need for continued development of institutional support to help translate intentions into successful ventures.
