This thesis analyzes the scientific and methodological foundations for the comprehensive assessment of the efficiency of legume crop production. The study proposes the DESI (Legume Efficiency Composite Index), which integrates several efficiency indicators into a single composite measure. The research results make it possible to objectively assess efficiency by taking agroecological conditions into account, compare results across regions, and provide a scientific basis for the development of sustainable agricultural policy.
