
En este trabajo analizamos el origen y sentido de tres expresiones comunitarias que a nuestro juicio conforman estrategias para la reproducción cultural en un pueblo de origen otomí. Se aborda a la fiesta patronal como repositorio de la memoria colectiva de largo aliento; las expresiones estéticas en torno de la celebración religiosa del santo como vías para inculcar valores comunitarios; y, el papel de los compadrazgos rituales generados en el marco del sistema de cargos, orientados al fortalecimiento interno de las redes de solidaridad, y el afianzamiento
