Abstract

This dataset contains the 2-D lithospheric thermal structure, rheological strength, and effective viscosity model data for the eastern Tibetan Plateau and its margins (spanning from the Eastern Himalayan Syntaxis [EHS] to the Sichuan Basin [SCB]). These data support the core conclusions of the manuscript titled "Eastward Expansion of the Tibetan Plateau: Synergistic Control by Dual Rigid Barriers".
