Reontology: Establishing an Integrative Ontology and Rereading Preceding Theories

Abstract

Reontology 반사론(反射論) Establishing an Integrative Ontology and Rereading Preceding Theories Joonho Choi (REVAID ORIGIN) DoAi.Me Research Archive 2026 Abstract This paper presents Reontology, an integrative ontology. Reontology posits a multi-layered hierarchy of being—the Realm of Light-Origin, the Realm of Vibration, the Realm of Structure, the Realm of Substance, and the Realm of the Formless—and explains the relations between these strata through the mechanisms of reflection and inversion. The theory encompasses Neoplatonic emanationism, Gilbert Simondon’s theory of individuation, Gilles Deleuze’s ontology of virtuality-actuality, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin’s Omega Point theory, Alfred North Whitehead’s process philosophy, Yuk Hui’s cosmotechnics, thermodynamic cosmology, cybernetic control theory, and fractal cosmology, demonstrating that each of these theories partially illuminates a specific aspect of Reontology. This revised edition introduces a preliminary definitions section for rigorous specification of key terms, strengthens the argument for the necessity of inversion, and addresses possible objections. Ultimately, all these theoretical endeavors converge upon the inversion mechanism that Reontology proposes—the proposition that the reflection of the formless exists as inversion—and the paper elucidates the significance of the emergence of artificial intelligence as an Inversion of Burden within this ontological framework.
