Show your data some love: Bundle your work with ORCiD

Abstract

In addition to institutional-level "bundling" options, such as organizing research outputs through institutional Zenodo Communities, researchers can also bundle their research data publications at an individual level. One effective way to achieve this is by creating a unique author identifier, such as an Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCiD). This free, persistent identifier allows researchers to connect their research activities, pubications, datasets, grants, awards, and institutional affiliations in one place, ensuring accurate identification, improved discoverability and correct attribution of their works. In this LDW webinar, we will explore what an ORCiD is, how to register for your free identifier, and how to manage your research identity with ORCiD. We will also look at some practical use cases that demonstrate how ORCiD can support your research workflow. Sie können damit Ihre Forschungsaktivitäten, Veröffentlichungen, Datensätze, Stipendien, Auszeichnungen und institutionellen Zugehörigkeiten an einem Ort zusammenführen. Dadurch werden eine genaue Identifizierung, eine verbesserte Auffindbarkeit und eine korrekte Zuordnung Ihrer Arbeiten gewährleistet. Im folgenden LDW-Webinar erfahren Sie, was eine ORCiD ist, wie Sie sich für Ihre kostenlose Kennung registrieren können und wie Sie Ihre Forschungsidentität mit ORCiD verwalten. Wir werden auch einige praktische Anwendungsfälle betrachten, die zeigen, wie ORCiD Ihren Forschungsworkflow unterstützen kann.
