
Culture plays a primary role in shaping the identity and collective memory of a society or nation across all generations in the world. This article is related to the culture of West Bengal. The main focus of this article is to understand the culture and traditions of Bengal. Bengali culture is one of the richest, most diverse, great, and famous cultures in India. This article briefly examines the geographical area, socio-cultural elements, historical background, traditional dress, daily life, different festivals, food habits, folk art, agriculture, historical monuments, and literature of West Bengal. The study also highlights the major characteristics and some famous aspects of India, and presents the past and present daily life, including certain changes from traditional habits accommodating modern influences.
