This file contains field notes from participant observation conducted during the public discussion “Baby po ślōnsku” held at the Municipal Public Library in Rybnik on 13 March 2025. The event focused on issues related to Silesian language transmission, gender perspectives in cultural activism, and the role of literature in shaping Upper Silesian identity. The dataset includes contextual metadata, observational descriptions of the discussion and audience interaction, and preliminary analytical reflections concerning the Upper Silesian literary field and language politics. The field notes are written in Polish.
