Abstract

This record provides the preprint and supporting documents for the study: “Procedural Concerns Regarding the Puberulic Acid Causation Hypothesis in the 2024 Red Yeast Rice Incident in Japan: An Independent Review Based on Administratively Disclosed Documents.” The study examines the scientific and procedural basis of the hypothesis that puberulic acid caused the health injuries reported in the 2024 red yeast rice incident in Japan. The analysis is based on officially disclosed administrative documents obtained through formal information disclosure procedures. The review focuses on whether the identification of puberulic acid and the subsequent toxicity hypothesis were supported by independently verifiable scientific procedures. Particular attention is given to the existence or absence of administrative sampling records, analytical identification records, and toxicity evaluation documentation. The evidence files (E0–E8) included in this record consist of administrative disclosure documents and related materials referenced in the analysis. 本レコードには、以下の研究のプレプリントおよび関連証拠資料を収録しています。 「2024年紅麹事案におけるプベルル酸原因物質説の科学的手続き上の問題― 行政開示文書に基づく独立検証 ―」 本研究は、2024年に発生した紅麹事案において原因物質とされたプベルル酸仮説について、その科学的および手続き上の妥当性を検証するものです。 分析は、情報公開制度により入手した行政文書に基づいて行われています。 添付された証拠資料(E0–E8)は、本研究で参照した行政開示文書および関連資料です。
