
Leadership establishes the tone for the workplace culture, which shapes the employees’ engagement and satisfaction with the organization. Hence, this study assessed the relationship between the leadership style, teacher engagement, and job satisfaction of secondary school administrators and teachers in the District of Jiabong, Schools Division of Samar, during the School Year 2024-2025. Based on the findings, while the school administrator-respondents perceived themselves as always practicing transformational, transactional, and innovative leadership styles, the teacher-respondents had considered them only often practiced. Meanwhile, the school administrator-respondents and the teacher-respondents considered the teacher engagement as only often practiced. Moreover, both respondents viewed the teachers’ job satisfaction as often practiced. There were significant differences in the perceptions between the school administrator- and teacher-respondents as to the leadership styles and teacher engagement, while there were none as to the job satisfaction of teachers. The school administrator-respondents’ sex, number of years as school administrator, and attitude toward leadership styles, teacher engagement, and job satisfaction were significantly related to their leadership styles. Finally, the school administrator-respondents’ leadership styles and teacher engagement and job satisfaction of teacher-respondents were significantly related.
