
The biology of Tephritis postica (Loew, 1844) is closely correlated to the genus Onopordum. In Poland, its only wild host plant is O. acanthium. The previous site of T. postica was recorded in Poland over 30 years ago in Ojców, in the Ojców National Park. This paper presents the first sites of T. postica in Lower Silesia
