Within the framework of an information-conserving universe, this paper explores the nature of death, consciousness, and existence. It proposes the core metaphor that "the universe is a mirror," arguing that matter, energy, and information form a triadic relationship constituting the fundamental reality of the cosmos. By distinguishing between "permutation/combination" and "creation/fractal unfolding," the paper reveals the dual nature of the universe, possessing both "certainty" (the closed loop of past information) and "uncertainty" (the fractal unfolding of potential future information). A "four-dimensional fractal universe" model is introduced—with material continuity as the x-axis, the fractal information tree as the y-axis, relativistic effects as the z-axis, and the arrow of time as the fourth dimension—embedding the tree-like universe within a dynamic coordinate system. It is further argued that information conservation must presuppose the existence of an "interpreter"; otherwise, the very notion of conservation is meaningless. Humanity serves precisely as the universe's organ of self-interpretation, an indispensable link in the transition of information from "potential" to "witnessed." This framework is then extended to an examination of death—not as the annihilation of information, but as its transformation from "temporal existence" to "eternal existence," a transition from a "readable state" to an "unreadable yet eternally preserved state." The paper explores the correspondence between information conservation and the Buddhist concepts of Alaya-vijnana and Tathagatagarbha, and analyzes the extreme case of suicide. It concludes that human meaning lies not in passively accepting a predetermined purpose, but in acting as the universe's "interpreter" and "fractal-unfolder," creating new information through every choice on the stage of certainty—each choice, each thought, a victory against nothingness.
