Due storicismi a confronto. Le prospettive di Giuseppe Cacciatore e Giuseppe Cantillo

Abstract

Il volume prende spunto dalla Giornata di studi Due storicismi a confronto. In ricordo di Giuseppe Cacciatore e Giuseppe Cantillo tenutasi il 20 maggio 2024 all'Università di Salerno. Alla Giornata, organizzata in collaborazione tra DISPAC, DISUFF, DIPSUM e DSPC, hanno partecipato numerosi studiosi e autorevoli personalità accademiche e istituzionali, che, insieme ai Direttori dei Dipartimenti coinvolti, hanno sottolineato lo spessore scientifico e umano di Giuseppe Cacciatore e Giuseppe Cantillo. In particolare, le relazioni sono state tenute da docenti allievi diretti dell'uno o dell’altro e che, in alcuni casi, hanno condiviso con entrambi tratti del loro percorso accademico. Dalle relazioni – che il volume raccoglie – emerge l’originale configurazione di due prospettive di storicismo, "critico-problematico" ed "esistenziale", unite dalla centralità della sfera dell’ “umano”, fondata sulla coniugazione di riflessione storico-teorica e impegno pratico-civile.
