The Romanian Computer Web Forums Corpus was created as part of aPhD investigation beginning with 2007 and it represents an essential sourceof information for the present work, which aims at describing specific discursivemechanisms of knowledge communication on the specialised webforums. This was subsequently enriched with a series of texts from theSoftpedia discussion forum (https://forum.softpedia.com/) published on theforum between 2021 and 2025. The purpose of this approach is to explore theevolution of communication in discussion forums in Romania.
